New PaxLair map layout being done for R29. The main cobblestoned area will be under construction for a couple of weeks. We have started setting up other neighborhoods. There is a nice one currently being built up on farside of island, near south exit.

Remember to do it before you login to the game server (Live or QA) since logging in will make all add on store items “claimed in game.” Please note that because we are wiping offers multiple times this week you will end up with multiple sets of rewards. Continued to add more options and paths for information. We;ve added a Memer Map function. This where users can show others approximately come from. No need to put in exact addresses, just general area. We've been able to embed the town maps from SOTAMap.com. These are fully functional, live updating maps. You will be able to see each borough, all POI's, all lots with info on you lives there and what lots are open. A great tool brought to the SOTA world by Jacob White. You can visit his site SOTAMAP.COM, here can can see any of the towns in No0via that have chosen to include their information. We now have, in a beta type state, the ability broadcast our weekly meetings and other things like a weekly news show or podcasts. PaxLair Voice uses a combination of TeamSpeak and a IP address to make this happen. We need to give scroda, The Sea Nymph Grotto Steward, for all his efforts on this. As of now these are the only 'Zoning" requirements that I know of. PaxLair borough - Only 2 lighthouses on waterfront. A third is being discussed. NO lighthouses on the lake. Tenakill borough - A farming community buildings restricted barns, windmills, any wooden homes no higher than 3 story, druid trees, greenhouses, water houses.NO large stone homes. PaxLair City, also called the PaxLair Cluster by some. Is a group of 9 individual towns that make up PaxLair City itself. We have decided to call these boroughs of PaxLair City, as an example New York City is made up of it's 5 boroughs of Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan & Staten Island. Those boroughs are PaxLair, Lockbrier, Dragons Watch, Tenakill, Serenity Isle, Island of Wonders, Knowhere , Golden Cove & Sea Nymph Grotto. PaxLair as transformed itself into one of the boroughs on equal footing with all other boroughs. The following images should give you an idea of what PaxLair City strives for.

Since PaxLair City is a "town" and not a guild, we encourage folks to be in any guild they want. PaxLair City itself will have 5 main guilds associated with it. PaxLair - A guild that will eventually only have PaxLair City officials in it. It will be a government guild - See Winfield Pax et Veritas - " Peace and Truth" one of our virtue guilds. Mostly based in the PaxLair City borough of Lockbrier - See Themo Lock Pax et Amor - "Peace and Love" our 2nd virtue guild. Mostly based in the PaxLair City borough of Tenakill - See Sean Silverfoot Pax et Fortudo - 'Peace and Courage" our third virtue guild - See Crazy Mary or Nanoc 4b - The famous 4b guild master builders of mazes and structures. Located in the PaxLair borough of Island of Wonders - See Sole, Gaelis Trajan or Net

OK, the term "meltdown" refers to returning things that you have purchased to the add-on store for store credit. Basically "melting" them down. So, as an example, you purchased the viking house, tried it out on the waterfront for a few releases and found that it's easy for rat's to get in. So you return it to the store, "melting " it down to store credit to purchase the metal Kobold "rat proof" home. The BIG ISSUE with melting down is, it can only be down right after a wipe. BEFORE you log into the game. Once you login everything is automatically claimed, which then leaves no chance to melt the item. So there are now only 2 opportunities to do so. R29 & R32. Hope that made sense.

Been thinking about starting this site for a number of years, but it always seemed that our current means of contact/information was handled by the existing PaxLair and SOTA forums. It has come to the point that we need to have our own space for historical reference and identity. The main PaxLair site is very centered around Ultima Online and rightly so with our 18+ year history with it. The SOTA forums doesn't help with private conversations limited to 5, Here we have all sorts of tools to stay in communication and to keep us organized Access to TeamSpeak servers, Image Gallery, blogs. Calendar feed from all known SOTA calenders. Ability to listen to our weekly PaxLair meeting live, outside TS via internet & in game radio! One spot communication with all the boroughs of PaxLair. So what am I looking for from all of you? Use this site to help collect and record the history of PaxLair City and all it's boroughs during our time in New Britannia.
